We believe that the world needs spiritual awakening and indigenous wisdom. Ivana, a dedicated wellness enthusiast with two decades of experience, has honed her expertise through roles at prestigious hospitality brands such as Canyon Ranch and Six Senses. Her journey among an Indigenous tribe in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest sparked the inspiration for this project, marking a profound spiritual reawakening that fuels her passion.

Recognizing the growing desire for deeper social connections and authentic experiences, PASSARO AZUL is focused on creating meaningful gatherings and seeing how they can contribute to the largest need in the world right now infusing them meaning and purpose.

It promises to be an enriching experience for all participants, serving as a potent catalyst for promoting cultural understanding, growth and transformation through the universal languages of spirituality, music and art.

Chief Tekahayani is the distinguished Leader of the Shanenawa Tribe, also known as the people of the passaro azul, or blue bird in portuguese.

The tribe possesses profound knowledge of the rainforest and maintain a deep connection with medicinal plants from the Amazon.

With three women holding leadership positions within the tribe committee, there is a strong emphasis on female empowerment, elevating the voices and visibility of indigenous women in decision-making processes.

The tribe has initiated a pioneering project titled “Centro de Medicina – Farmacia Viva” (Center of Organic Medicine – “Pharmacy Alive”), the first of its kind. This project aims to preserve traditional medicinal knowledge while establishing sustainable pharmacy and providing access to natural remedies while preserving indigenous traditions.

Located in the village of Anuyka Peshe Vena (Morada Nova), on the banks of the river Envira, “Farmacia Viva” embodies Shanenawa’s commitment to cultural preservation and community empowerment.
